Job Title: Virtual Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in administering and managing virtualized infrastructure using vSphere, as well as implementing cloud technology solutions using AWS and Azure.

About the Role:

The Virtual Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day administration of our virtualized infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently. This includes tasks such as managing version control systems using Git, configuring and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Crossplane, and scripting and automating tasks using Ansible and PowerShell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage virtualized infrastructure using vSphere
  • Implement cloud technology solutions using AWS and Azure
  • Manage version control systems using Git
  • Configure and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Crossplane
  • Script and automate tasks using Ansible and PowerShell
  • Integrate APIs for various applications and services
  • Implement ITIL framework for change management
  • Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Design and implement CICD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI
  • Manage identity and access management using AWS IAM and Azure AD
  • Design and implement disaster recovery and backup solutions using Commvault
  • Implement networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Implement automation configuration management using Ansible
  • Implement cloud security best practices including data encryption, security groups, and key management
  • Perform performance tuning and capacity planning
