Senior Database Developer

About this Role:

  • We're seeking a seasoned database developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale databases using Microsoft-based technologies.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in creating data warehouses, performing ETL processes using Azure Synapse Analytics and Data Factory, and designing efficient database structures that optimize performance and scalability.
  • Additionally, we're looking for someone who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database solutions.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Transact-SQL Development, with a strong understanding of database development principles and best practices.
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) using Azure Data Factory, with expertise in data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage and Eventhub/Stream Analytics is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Enterprise Job Scheduler - Active Batch, with experience in automating complex workflows and tasks.
  • PowerShell, with expertise in scripting and automation.
