Role: Enterprise Network Security Professional

Experience: 10+ years of advanced experience in network security.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Network Security Professional with strong expertise in Next-Generation Firewalls & enterprise switching infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting secure and efficient networks while ensuring compliance with security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Firewall Security: Design, deploy, and manage Next-Generation Firewalls including security policies, threat prevention, and URL filtering.

Security Best Practices

Maintain and optimize firewall rulesets to ensure both security and network performance. Monitor logs and alerts, investigate incidents, and troubleshoot security-related issues.

Switching Management

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise switching infrastructure. Implement VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, QoS, ACLs. Handle advanced L3 routing on switches (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).

Collaboration & Documentation

Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver secure network solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Palo Alto Firewalls: Security profiles, NAT, VPNs, Panorama management.
  • Strong understanding of Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Minimum 10-15 years of enterprise network experience, 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network security and managing team.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field.
  • Knowledge of Network automation (Python, Ansible).
  • Experience in handling large Enterprise Networks.
