Job Opportunity:

Senior Payroll Specialist
  • End-to-end payroll processing involves collecting timesheet data and payroll information, entering it into administrative databases and software programs.
  • Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, and commissions is a key responsibility of the role.
  • The specialist must prepare and process paychecks and cash deposits accurately.
  • Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions is crucial for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely manner.
  • Performing payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Preparing financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes.
  • Paying taxes based on income tax requirements.
  • Carefully calculating termination payments with Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, and Redundancy payment.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business or a related field, or an MBA with 4-6 years of experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written).
Desired Competencies:
  • Proficiency in documentation and Excel skills.
  • Reliability and honesty in performing duties.
  • Ability to work according to shift timings.
  • Knowledge of multi-country payroll and taxation laws.
