Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build Comprehensive Financial Models: Create detailed financial models for Solar PV and Energy Storage projects.
  2. Evaluate RFPs and Populate Financial Models: Assess Requests for Proposals to structure and populate financial models used in bidding processes.
  3. Collaborate with Teams: Coordinate inputs from Development, Project Financing, Finance, EPC, and other teams to populate assumptions and structures in financial models.
  4. Support Development and Financing Teams: Assist teams in running case runs and scenarios to optimize economic benefits and analyze key drivers.
  5. Assist Model Auditors and Lenders: Support model auditors and lenders during project finance processes.
  6. Own and Maintain Financial Models: Have complete ownership of financial models and support the bidding team on all matters related to financial modelling.
  7. Maintain and Update Financial Models: Update financial models pre and post financial close.
  8. Prepare Presentations: Prepare presentations related to financial analysis.
  9. Train and Supervise Junior Modelers: Train and supervise incoming junior modelers.

Requirements:

  • A degree in business, finance or accounting from a reputable institution.
  • At least 10 years of experience in building, developing, and running project finance-based financial models.
  • At least 4-5 years of financial modelling experience in solar/renewable projects.
  • A hands-on execution capability with a can-do attitude and strong passion for financial modelling.
  • The ability to work in a team environment and engage in cross-functional collaboration.
  • A recognized university degree - Bachelor or above.
