Job Opportunity

KhetPe seeks a skilled UI/UX Designer to own the design strategy and user experience of its digital platform for farmers.

The ideal candidate will act as the voice of the user, creating and validating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that bring simplicity, trust, and impact to farmer-centric digital experiences.

Responsibilities include conducting user research, usability testing, and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and delightful interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Owns design strategy and quarterly UX roadmap aligned to business and product goals.

• Translates product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Miro.

• Defines and maintains design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual and functional consistency.

• Partners with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria.

• Conducts end-to-end user research: interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing with farmers, FPOs, and partners.

• Champions UX for rural contexts: vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues.

• Collaborates closely with Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect handoff, clarity on design specifications, and smooth implementation.

• Runs design experiments (A/B testing, prototypes) and analyzes outcomes to optimize key funnels (onboarding, engagement, transactions).

• Ensures compliance with accessibility standards, data privacy guidelines, and local regulations in all user interfaces.

• Prepares demos, storyboards, and training material for cross-functional launches with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

• Maintains awareness of industry trends, competitor interfaces, and evolving UX best practices to keep KhetPe ahead.

• Reports weekly on design progress, open issues, and risks; ensures alignment with Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX Design.

• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.

• Experience with design systems, UI patterns, and style guides.

• Ability to conduct user research and usability testing.
