The Role:

You will play a critical role in designing and deploying solutions that drive real-world impact like tailoring communications, improving engagement, and reducing missed appointments. You will develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.

  • Build and maintain APIs and microservices that enable real-time and batch inference of AI/ML models.
  • Fine-tune and adapt pre-trained models (e.g., LLMs, classification models) for specific business use cases.
  • Integrate external AI services where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI-powered features.
  • Contribute to MLOps workflows, including deployment, versioning, and monitoring of models in production.
  • Follow engineering best practices for clean code, testing, observability, and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of backend development with TypeScript and Node.js
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying AI/ML models
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and experience using PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to MLOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, or Airflow
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
