We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in building high-impact systems for thousands of retail investors.

In this role, you will design and develop scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI. You will work closely with the team to collaborate on system design, focusing on speed and scalability. Your exceptional debugging skills will be essential in resolving complex issues and ensuring the quality of our systems.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have 2-3 years of proven experience in Python backend development. Strong expertise in FastAPI, Pandas, NumPy, and PostgreSQL is also required. Additionally, comfort with async programming, cron scheduling, git, and swagger is essential.

Bonus points will be awarded for experience with Kafka.
