Job Title: Data Privacy Review and Remediation Specialist

 

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and coordinating Data Privacy reviews with various stakeholders. This includes conducting independent Data Privacy and AI reviews as per the annual plan, working closely with internal stakeholders such as ERC, ISC, Internal Audit, Legal, and business owners.

Key responsibilities include drafting and publishing high-quality DP review reports, ensuring timely conclusion of reviews, and verifying evidence of remediation implementation in systems. The ideal candidate will also assume responsibility for assigned tasks to improve Data Privacy review and remediation processes and tools.

Additionally, this role involves enabling constant improvement and efficacy of Data Privacy and AI review and remediation processes through analytical and governance, risk, and compliance skills. The candidate will contribute to ongoing reporting, KPI tracking, and governance requirements as applicable.

This position requires collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of Data Privacy and AI reviews, timely completion of remediation actions, accurate record-keeping, and meeting operational KPIs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent university education in business, finance, law, or a relevant subject matter. A Data Privacy certification such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPT is also required.

Familiarity with highly regulated industries with dynamic regulatory frameworks is essential. Experience in the Pharma/Healthcare industry is preferred. Comprehensive understanding of Data Privacy policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements is necessary.

Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate within cross-functional teams and business units is required. Reporting to senior management is a key aspect of this role.
