Job Title: Data Privacy Review and Remediation Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in planning, preparing, and coordinating Data Privacy reviews with stakeholders. Your expertise will enable us to conduct thorough reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective remediation actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate Data Privacy reviews with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct independent reviews as per the annual plan, working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Draft high-quality review reports and ensure timely completion of reviews.
  • Coordinate remediation actions and advise business owners on implementation.
  • Verify evidence of implementation and update systems accordingly.
  • Document remediation action plans and closure within systems.
  • Assume responsibility for assigned tasks to build and improve Data Privacy review and remediation processes.
  • Support the development of review processes around AI, building on existing Data Privacy review and remediation programs.
  • Enable continuous improvement and efficacy of Data Privacy and AI review and remediation processes by leveraging analytical and governance, risk, and compliance skills.
  • Contribute to ongoing reporting, KPI tracking, and governance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain credible relationships with key stakeholders to ensure collaboration and influence needed outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent university education in business, finance, law, or relevant subject matter.
  • Data Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPT).
  • Law or business degree with recognized education/certification in Data Privacy and/or Risk Management and/or Information Security.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry with a dynamic regulatory framework.
  • Pharma/Healthcare industry experience is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Data Privacy policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate within cross-functional teams and business units.
