Our organization seeks a visionary leader to drive product security initiatives. As Lead Product Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive security strategies aligned with our business objectives.

This role requires expertise in product security, particularly in highly regulated industries, as well as a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement product security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to integrate security practices throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee vulnerability identification and remediation, ensuring timely and effective incident response.
  • Establish and maintain security standards, frameworks, and best practices for product development and deployment.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform security strategies and practices.
  • Communicate complex security concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in engineering or cybersecurity roles.
  • Proven expertise in product security, particularly in medical device or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management processes, and regulatory requirements for medical devices.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or OSCP.
  • Experience with IoT devices, embedded, mobile, cloud security, and data protection architectures.
  • Familiarity with security incident management and operations center (SOC) practices.
