Responsibilities:- Design and develop Class A surface designs for automotive plastics parts.
- Create concept 3D models considering manufacturing requirements and readiness for mass production.
- Conduct internal design and engineering reviews to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Develop manufacturing drawings and specifications.
- 4-7 years of experience in automotive plastics parts design.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 and 3DExperience.
- Strong skills in solid, surface modeling, and drafting.
- Experience in engineering design and development of automotive plastic components for interior and exterior systems.
- Knowledge of mechanisms and kinematics.
- Experience with OEM/Tier1 is preferred.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, DFMEA, GD&T, and tolerance stack analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
