About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Financial Control Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, as well as identifying and mitigating financial risks. You will also develop and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

You will work closely with our finance team to implement up-to-date financial policies and procedures, manage the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and software applications, and prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports to authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Fundamental Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial control or related field
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Demonstrated Proficiencies:

  • Experience with financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and laws
  • Skilled in using financial software and systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
