Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of our software applications by executing manual testing with meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product requirements to define acceptance criteria.
  • Design, create, and maintain reusable test scripts that cater to the diverse needs of our software applications.
  • Execute manual testing with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the product is thoroughly evaluated.
  • Review Test Plans with Product Management and Development teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Provide estimates on Test resources and effort to support prioritization and planning, enabling our teams to make informed decisions.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking tools.
  • We require a minimum of 1 year experience in manual testing, with industry experience being preferred but not essential.
  • You will work closely with our engineers to ensure timely resolution of issues, fostering a collaborative environment that drives success.
  • As a member of our team, you will participate as a testing resource when required and be an integral part of all releases.
  • Show flexibility and understanding to occasionally work within tight deadlines, demonstrating your ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A desire to gain experience in testing and be eager to learn and grow with our organization.
  • Experience in developing automated test scripts using Selenium, along with a successful track record for QA involvement throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Practical knowledge and experience with both AGILE and Waterfall development methodologies and be accustomed to working in a fast-paced development-driven environment.
