Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Platform Architect to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our internal developer platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud computing concepts and technologies, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. They will be responsible for building self-service capabilities that enable developers to provision infrastructure, deploy applications, and manage their environments independently.

The successful candidate will contribute to the overall architecture and design of our cloud infrastructure, evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools into the platform, and work closely with development teams to understand their needs and pain points.

In this role, you will provide training and support to developers on how to use the platform effectively, gather feedback from developers and iterate on the platform based on their needs, and document platform features and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain the core components of our internal developer platform
  • Build self-service capabilities that enable developers to provision infrastructure, deploy applications, and manage their environments independently
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools into the platform
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our cloud infrastructure
  • Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and pain points
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or a related role
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
