Senior Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Investment Professional to join our team. This role will be based in India, and will involve working closely with the global capital markets team.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of investment-related terminology and will be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for clients.
  • Analyze performance of different investment options and overall plans.
  • Communicate with investment and custodian teams to gather and clarify client-specific data for reporting.
  • Manage client communications and reviews, ramp-ups, and ongoing transitions.
  • Define, delegate, monitor, and participate in employee engagement activities.
  • Mentor and lead a team of analysts across different processes.
  • Own accountability by helping teams troubleshoot issues on projects.
  • Drive process improvements.
  • Manage relationships with business process owners and senior management.
  • Ensure exceptional client experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and client policies.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Graduate degree in finance or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Python and SQL programming languages.
  • Strong understanding and proper usage of investment-related terminology in written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in analyzing investment portfolios or researching investment managers located outside of India.
  • Computations of returns (money weighted / time weighted) for clients.
  • Exposure to Global Capital Markets and working knowledge of various Asset Classes and Investment Strategies and performance attribution.
  • Good command on MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities, and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
