Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on key responsibilities in handling day-to-day finance and accounts operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing General Ledger, Reconciliations, Taxation, and supporting audits under the supervision of senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger postings, reconciliations (bank, vendor, intercompany), and fixed assets accounting.
  • Support monthly and annual closing processes by preparing schedules, reports, and accurate financial data.
  • Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
  • Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax requirements.
  • Prepare MIS reports and assist in variance analysis as directed by senior management.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and journal entries
  • Good working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues appropriately
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Ethical conduct and data confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CA Inter / Postgraduate in Commerce (M. Com) from a recognized university.
  • Technical know-how in MS Office Suite, VB, Power tools / Work experience in SAP or similar ERP is essential.
  • Familiarity in accounting & reporting tools is preferred and basic understanding of accounting standards and taxation rules.

Work Environment:

This role requires the ability to work flexible hours during the day and weekends as needed.
