About the Role

This role is a leadership position within our Food Operations division, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Operation
    • Elevate the quality and presentation of food items to meet or exceed client expectations.
    • Develop and implement menu recipes that balance flavor, cost, and nutritional value.
    • Lead a team of cooks, MPWs, stewards, cashiers, and Stores assistants to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records of daily leftovers and plan production accordingly to minimize wastage.
    • Implement sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact.
    • Taste food before service begins to ensure consistency in quality and presentation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve efficiency.
  • Organic Growth and Profitability
    • Analyze sales trends and develop strategies to drive organic growth and increase site profitability.
    • Implement effective pricing strategies and promotions to maximize revenue.
    • Optimize inventory management to reduce costs and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Cash and Debtors Management
    • Oversee accurate control, handover, and deposition of cash, ensuring all specified cash control documents are maintained accurately.
    • Ensure timely invoicing and payment processing to maintain positive cash flow.
  • People Management and Training
    • Foster a culture of excellence by developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for staff.
    • Monitor and address performance issues promptly to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Communication and Client Retention
    • Establish strong relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive issue resolution.
    • Ensure 100% client satisfaction through effective problem-solving and issue escalation.
  • Wastage Control and Cost Management
    • Develop and implement waste reduction initiatives to minimize environmental impact and reduce costs.
    • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Legal Compliances
    • Ensure all legal requirements are met, including compliance with regulatory bodies and adherence to company policies.
  • Systems Implementation and Process Management
    • Develop and implement new systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making.
  • Procurement and Inventory Management
    • Source high-quality raw materials at competitive prices while maintaining consistent supply chains.
    • Manage inventory levels effectively to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
