Job Title: Senior Analyst

At Lowe's India, the Global Capability Center of Lowe's Companies Inc., we are driving our technology, business, analytics, and shared services strategy. Our team is a hub for innovation across omnichannel retail, AI/ML, enterprise architecture, supply chain, and customer experience.

The Pricing Analytics team supports pricing managers and merchants in defining and optimizing the pricing strategies for various product categories across the channels .The team leverages advanced analytics to forecast/measure the impact of pricing actions , develop strategic price zones, recommend price changes and identify sales/margin opportunities to achieve company targets .

The role of Sr. Analyst – Pricing involves strategic price test development, data-driven price change recommendation & measurement, and ad hoc work supporting Lowe's strategic pricing efforts. In this role, you will be assisting the Sr. Pricing Analysts & Pricing Managers in developing, modeling, communicating, and tracking performance of new initiatives related to Pricing.

  • Responsible for providing cluster-specific data analytics, including development and deployment of necessary dashboards, reporting & insights.
  • Research, design, and develop applicable statistical approaches/models for specific business problems (Price Testing, Price Change, Post Mortem & Category review).
  • Design and develop processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Leverage Item role designation (Key Value Item (KVI), Head, Core & Tail) models in support of Role of Category and Intent objectives to develop insights.
  • Develop scalable retail test processes and frameworks for design of experiment, test v/s control testing, baseline development, assessment, and recommendations.
  • Analyze Competitor demographics & performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Ad Hoc reporting and analysis for Pricing team.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to effect a new decision related to Pricing
  • Must possess a strong understanding of the business in order to provide effective solutions that meet the customer's needs and the ability to drive a concept from vision to completion with limited direction
