We're seeking an exceptional Infrastructure Specialist

About the Job

This role involves collaborating across teams to lead technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders. You'll work closely with junior team members to mentor and guide them through complex tasks.

  • You will adapt to different roles and technologies as project needs evolve.
  • A proactive mindset with excellent communication, collaboration, and writing skills are essential.
  • You will apply methodologies like Agile and Lean to manage projects and deliverables.
  • Making RFCs, taking inputs and documenting knowledge for team reference.
  • Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale infrastructure systems.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • A good understanding of software delivery principles.
  • Technical agility: Ability to adapt to different roles and technologies when needed.
Desirable Skills

The following skills would be beneficial:

  • A good understanding of Linux and software-defined networking.
  • Experience working with configuration management tools like Ansible and Chef.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts.
  • Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with Cloud-Native ecosystem and tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Envoy.
  • In-depth understanding of containers & container orchestrators like Nomad, Kubernetes.
  • Managing and organizing infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
  • Familiarity with primary cloud providers like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
  • Understanding Observability well and can collaborate with dev teams to improve their observability systems.
  • Principles of distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Basic cloud security.
