Job Overview

This is a key role in our team where you will have the opportunity to apply your engineering and industrial expertise in a new field. You will work closely with dedicated, innovative, and solution-oriented teammates who share your passion for delivering high-quality results.

  • You'll be responsible for supporting and leading technical activities on Alstom products during various phases including Product Introduction, Commissioning, and Warranty. This will involve working closely with teams across the business (Product Introduction Management, RAMS, Quality, Installation and Test & Commissioning) to diagnose and troubleshoot operational equipment issues.
  • You'll also provide technical guidance, ensure quality control of failure management data for RAMS exploitation, and advise on customer satisfaction and product enhancements.
Key Responsibilities

The following are some of the key responsibilities of this role:

  • Diagnose causes of equipment malfunction and recommend preventative and corrective actions
  • Define troubleshooting methodologies and support technicians in repairs
  • Drive reliability growth and containment of failures
  • Manage as-maintained product configuration and documentation
  • Engage in technical reviews with stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with EHS rules and support audits
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience or understanding of mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering
  • Knowledge of railway safety, RAM, and EHS principles
  • Familiarity with product knowledge and data analytics
  • A certification in internal EHS training
  • Problem-solving skills and quality management experience
  • Effective communication for customer interactions
