Last Mile Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end last mile delivery operations within our logistics hub. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely deliveries and optimized routes to meet customer expectations.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead and manage a team of skilled delivery professionals, driving performance standards and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with team members, providing guidance and support to overcome challenges and improve overall efficiency.

Cash Handling and Reconciliation Expertise

  • Develop and implement efficient cash handling processes, ensuring seamless reconciliation of daily cash collections during deliveries.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Analyze and track key metrics such as daily, weekly, and monthly delivery performance, return to origin (RTO), and other KPIs to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, preferably with a focus on last-mile delivery operations, for junior logistics professionals, or 4-5 years for senior logistics executives.
  • Prior experience in managing teams, cash handling, and route optimization is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets is essential for data analysis and reporting.
