Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

  • Ensuring seamless logistics operations by overseeing daily activities such as truck loading/unloading, document sorting and timely completion.
  • Loading documents and boxes in an efficient flow to support productivity on the delivery route.
  • Planning routes, re-prioritizing stops to effectively complete pick-ups within customer time-windows and meet productivity targets.
  • Highlighting discrepancies with agreed stop counts and proactively seeking balance with pickup coordinators.
  • Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and preparing inspection reports.
  • Adhering to state and local regulations regarding warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements.
  • Maintaining accuracy and timeliness of necessary documents and auditing customer records.
  • Utilizing tools for accurate scanning, recording and data transfer for performance tracking and compliance activities.
  • Securing vehicles and packages by taking precautions and following safety procedures.
  • Effectively managing customer inquiries, requests and resolving issues or escalating them as needed.
  • Identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue and improve customer satisfaction through sales and automation initiatives.
  • Conducting physical inventory checks and reconciling data to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Optimizing results by prioritizing tasks and taking on additional responsibilities when possible.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Achieving all key performance indicators (KPIs) at 100%.
  • Meeting operational requirements for desired results.
