Tender Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced tender specialist to manage and coordinate online tender submissions, particularly through the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) Portal.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring relevant online portals, analyzing tender documents, and evaluating eligibility criteria. They will also prepare and submit technical and commercial bids in accordance with tender requirements, as well as coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of online portals for new tender opportunities;
  • Analysis and evaluation of tender documents and eligibility criteria;
  • Preparation and submission of technical and commercial bids in accordance with tender requirements;
  • Cordination with internal departments for documentation and certifications;
  • Tracking of tender status, follow-up on submissions, and handling post-bid documentation;
  • Maintenance of records of all tender submissions and outcomes;
  • Ensuring compliance with government procurement rules and regulations;
  • Responding to queries and clarifications from clients or authorities as needed;

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in any field;
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in online tendering, specifically on the GEM Portal;
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement procedures and documentation;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and tender submission tools;
  • Good communication and coordination skills;
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines;
