About the Role

Guidehouse is seeking a seasoned Revenue Cycle Manager for our Accounts Receivable team. This is a key position that requires a professional with extensive experience in Revenue Cycle Management, specifically in the domain of AR Calling for Medical Billing. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, monitoring, directing, and evaluating team performance on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor daily schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with superiors and team members to address any challenges or issues that may hinder meeting deadlines.
  • Identify and prioritize day-to-day operational tasks and workflow challenges to maintain a smooth flow of work and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Assist in developing and revising operational policies and procedures to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of client workflows, procedures, and specific criteria for each assigned client.
  • Resolve queries, account reviews, and provide training as needed.
  • Drive production and quality to the expected level.
  • Identify production and quality issues, and implement plans for improvement.
  • Analyze data to identify payer issues and challenges and develop solutions.
  • Contribute to team engagement and retention, and work to minimize absenteeism.
  • Lead internal and external calls, and manage performance.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for any issues that may arise.
  • Possess strong denial management skills and knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, ICD, and CPT codes used on denials.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact positively with team members, peers, and seniors.
  • Exceed performance targets, and prioritize individual and team tasks effectively.
  • Participate actively in project launch sessions to understand the team's process and track daily progress during the launch period.
  • Communicate effectively in front of groups, both large and small.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, specifically in the domain of AR Calling for Medical Billing.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
