Job Title:

Financial Operations Leader

About the Role:

This is a critical leadership position responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce monthly and year-end financial statements for statutory reporting and analysis.
  • Lead the preparation of periodic financial reports, balance sheet documentation and ad hoc analyses to ensure alignment with corporate standards.
  • Plan, organize and review activities of the accounting team including accounts payable, payroll, journal entries and cash management to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with corporate to develop the finance function in India to support global operations and growth initiatives.
  • Oversee the year-end audit process for the region, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and practices; interact with external auditors to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Promote the use of common and harmonized processes and tools across the region based on best practices and industry strategies.
  • Ensure effective internal controls and procedures are in place to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant certification.
  • A minimum of 14 years of relevant experience in managing full-cycle accounting teams.
  • Experience working in a multi-site environment and international operations to drive strategic growth.
Desirable Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proficiency in SAP is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Advanced Excel skills with data analysis and visualization expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to facilitate collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
