Job Title: Foundry Quality Assurance Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foundry Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials and sand used in our foundry operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test raw materials such as pig iron, CRC scrap, ferroalloys, and other additives to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Conduct regular testing of Green Sand, No Bake Sand, and Neno Sand to ensure conformity to process specifications.
  • Analyze and monitor ductile iron parameters including %C (Carbon), %Si (Silicon), %Mn (Manganese), %P (Phosphorus), %S (Sulfur), %Mg (Magnesium), %Al (Aluminum), and %VM (Volatile Matter).
  • Perform Brinell/Rockwell hardness tests as part of the quality control process and support metallurgical and microstructure evaluation where required.
  • Maintain documentation and test reports as per ISO, NABL, and internal quality standards and ensure all laboratory procedures comply with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 and customer audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/B.Sc in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, chemistry or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in foundry or material testing lab.
  • Hands-on experience with spectrometers, sand testing equipment, and mechanical testing tools.
