Loan Specialist Position

Rupeek seeks a skilled professional to fill the role of Loan Operations Specialist. This key position involves overseeing loan transactions, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approve KYC, gold appraisal, payment, and release transactions within defined timelines.
  • Manage day-to-day operations related to transaction approvals, loan processing, and back-office tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory guidelines for all transactions.
  • Detect and report discrepancies or errors in KYC, gold appraisal, payment, and release processes.
  • Perform accurate visual inspections to identify spurious gold and calculate stone deductions effectively.

Requirements:

  • 0-1 year of experience in gold loan appraisal or back-office operations.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a recognized institution.
  • Preferred experience in NBFCs, banking, financial services, or gold loan operations.
  • Ability to differentiate between genuine and spurious gold; knowledge of standard deduction practices for embedded stones.
  • Ability to read Marathi or Gujarati is mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in large, diverse teams.
  • Capable of managing and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Self-driven, dedicated, and maintains a positive and professional attitude.
