We're on a mission to revolutionize the world of accessible VR training. As a Freelance AR Developer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping this vision.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy mobile AR features using Unity, focusing on markerless/object tracking, plane/mesh, depth & occlusion, anchors, and hit-testing.
  • Integrate OpenCV for image/object detection, segmentation, and augmented AR interactions.
  • Optimize AR experiences for real-time performance across iOS/Android, prioritizing frame time, memory, GC, and thermal efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain efficient debugging & release pipelines using Xcode, Gradle, TestFlight/internal testing, and create concise technical notes.

Essential Skills

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AR development with Unity (AR Foundation 4/5), ARCore & ARKit features in production apps.
  • Proven expertise in object tracking, including image/object databases and runtime updates, as well as OpenCV integration.
  • Strong proficiency in profiling and optimization skills on mobile platforms, utilizing Unity Profiler, Xcode Instruments, and Android Profiler.
  • Proficiency in Git, CI basics, modular code, and excellent troubleshooting techniques.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Shader Graph/HLSL for lightweight VFX/occlusion tricks or Sentis/Barracuda/on-device ML; Niantic Lightship.
  • A proven track record of shipping to App Store/Play, including automated build/test processes.
