As a visionary leader in data engineering, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable high-performance data solutions across the organization. A technical leader and mentor, you will drive best practices in data engineering, architecture, and governance.

About the Role

You will architect, design, and optimize complex data pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Services. Your expertise will be essential in defining and enforcing data quality standards, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete data.

A key part of your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust data solutions. You will champion documentation, metadata management, and data governance practices.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to guide the development of Power BI and Sigma Computing dashboards and semantic models. Furthermore, you will integrate data from relational and NoSQL sources, and lead integration efforts with Informatica Cloud Platform.

Your ability to architect and implement real-time data ingestion using Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS, and event-driven patterns will be crucial in driving data-driven initiatives forward.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional who can mentor junior engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience with Databricks.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, PySpark, and distributed data processing.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT best practices.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including CTEs, aggregations, and joins.
