Job Description

The role of the SAP EHS Expert is to oversee the implementation and roll-out of the SAP EHS solution within the Long Segment using a Project Management approach, combined with technical expertise. This involves managing projects from initial demand collection to project closure, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.

  • Manage the implementation of SAP EHS solution in the Long Segment.
  • Ensure successful transformation of projects through various stages, including initial demand collection, books of requirements, Request For Proposal, blueprint, realization, cutover plan, training, go-live, project closure, project committees, steering committees, and subcontractors' management.
  • Contribute to the EHS Domain strategy, participate in annual 5-year plans, and assess transformations handled against current strategy.
  • Manage part of run and maintain activity, contributing to incident management and progressive maintenance management in the domain.

The SAP EHS Expert will be responsible for handling all activities in full compliance with IT General Compliance rules and Sox rules applied in the ArcelorMittal group.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • B.E / B.Tech / Any Master's Degree.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience/knowledge of general industry or steel market/products/production process as an advantage.
  • SAP customizing in SAP EHS module.
  • ABAP skills are a plus, with ability to understand and resolve issues, debugging skills.
  • Deep business processes knowledge of Health and Safety activity, business experience in area as a plus: Business Process Modelling.
  • Good ability to communicate at various levels, ability to train other people, synthesis spirit, autonomous.
