About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned legal expert to lead our debt management strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise and drive meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic legal guidance on optimizing debt management processes.
  • Oversee and resolve debt-related disputes and litigation, collaborating with external counsel when necessary.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support litigation strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with internal business, compliance, and legal teams to create practical solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external legal partners and regulatory bodies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in litigation processes, civil procedure, and relevant laws and regulations in India.
  • Prior experience in debt management in banks, NBFCs, or asset reconstruction companies is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and execute effective legal strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal issues clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
