About the Role:

We're seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join our product, engineering, and data teams. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting user research, designing user experiences, and delivering designed experiences that drive platform value and adoption. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to simplify and rationalize complex product design, ensuring a clear, usable, and intuitive platform for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead design for the ML platform, evolving the design of the current platform and driving the future vision to ensure cohesion for all users.
  • Have fluency in modern design tools and processes, with skills in facilitation, research, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Be embedded in cross-functional product teams and responsible for all design artifacts, from initial discovery and user journey mapping through to the execution of final UI design details.
  • Deeply understand the users you're designing for, both customers and internal operations teams, and strive to understand the what, why, and how of the problems you're solving for.
  • Collaborate using strong communication, written documentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Work closely with PMs, Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to ensure the teams are shipping great designs and are deeply involved throughout the design process.
  • Execute and advocate for polished, intuitive, and accessible user experiences, balancing ideal experiences with technical constraints, experimentation strategy, or business risk.
  • Help raise the bar for design at Madison Logic.
  • Regularly work with product leadership to ensure long-term strategy, business goals, and experience quality are aligned and there are healthy opportunities for visibility and feedback.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Design experience: 5+ years of hands-on product design experience working across the entire product development lifecycle, with a portfolio showing deep expertise designing B2B products and the unique challenges they represent.
  • Team structures: Experience working within cross-functional team structures, partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineers, driving a collaborative and psychologically safe culture where everyone can share ideas.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Design thinking mindset: Passionate about inclusive design and accessibility, designing with all users in mind, and caring about UI design details while being comfortable zooming out to see the broader picture.
  • Action-oriented: Comfortable running workshops or leading remote collaboration sessions with cross-functional groups.
  • Education: Degree in Human-Computer Interaction or equivalent.

  • Self-starter who can think quickly and creatively in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Ability to investigate, analyze, and solve problems, and clearly communicate results both internally and externally with partners and customers.
