Job Title: Senior Data Modeling Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data analyst to lead our data modeling group. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enforcing data models and naming standards across all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reverse and forward engineer business legacy data models to meet the needs of business analytics usage.
  • Design and develop data lineage with or without pre-existing documentation.
  • Communicate technical data integration requirements, designs, and decisions to IT and Business stakeholders, both verbally and through documentation.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence teams to define reporting goals and/or dashboard requirements.
  • Ensure design documentation includes Business rules, Data security, Data quality, Lineage, Harmonization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent field, DAMA Data certifications a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data architecture.
  • Expert understanding of Data Warehouse design for high volume processing and performance.
  • Proficient in Data Lineage / Modeling tools (ER Studio), Informatica toolsets including Data Archive, EDC, Oracle database.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, including Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI.
