Job Overview:

The Quality Team Lead is a critical role that oversees the quality checks of map data. This position involves leading a team responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Quality analysts to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Identify data quality challenges and proactively mitigate the issues through effective problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and implement data quality policies and validation rules to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Monitor day-to-day activities of Quality analysts to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), quality metrics, and client guidelines.
  • Track team performance using data quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze complex data related to quality control processes, utilizing tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Present comprehensive reports and recommendations to stakeholders, highlighting findings and opportunities for growth.
  • Address quality issues promptly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Collaborate with Process Excellence and data creation teams to implement best practices in mapping operations, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Provide regular updates to Quality Manager on team performance and process improvements, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Data Science, or Computer Science.
  • Desirable: Additional certifications in quality management, such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role or 2 years of experience in a Quality Analyst role, demonstrating leadership and analytical skills.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools, including data analysis software and quality management systems.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with adaptability and flexibility in response to changing priorities and deadlines.
