Job Overview
As a seasoned Physical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge semiconductor and embedded system design solutions. You will be part of a team that focuses on Embedded, Turnkey ASICs, Mixed Signal IP, Semiconductor & Product Engineering, and IoT solutions for diverse industries such as Aerospace & Defence, Consumer Electronics, Automotive, Medical, and Networking & Telecommunications.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in top-level floor planning, partitioning, placement, scan-chain-reordering, clock tree synthesis, timing optimization, SI-aware routing, timing analysis/closure, and ECO tasks. In addition, they should have experience with 65nm or lower node designs and advanced low-power techniques. Proficiency in Cadence or Synopsys or Magma physical design tools is also required.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with front-end ASIC teams to resolve issues.
  • Design low-power circuits using Voltage Islands, Power Gating, and substrate-bias techniques.
  • Ensure timing closure on DDR2/DDR3/PCIE interfaces.
