Compliance Expert Role

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Expert to join our Implementation team. As an integral member, the responsibility of this role is to implement compliance systems for customers related to policy adherence, security requirements governance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and participate in client initiatives to reduce technology risk, governance, and compliance with policies and external regulations.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks to ensure proactive mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Design and implement IT security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks and improve client security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and continuous evolution of capabilities.
  • Assess information security threats and their impact on clients' IT environment to provide informed recommendations.
  • Support senior team members in analyzing requirements and designing clients' information security posture, as well as Legal, Regulatory, and Scheme security requirements.
  • Collaborate with the senior team in delivering work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL, and incident management disciplines.
  • Perform internal and external information security risk and exception assessments, assessing incidents, vulnerability management, scans, patching status, secure baselines, penetration test results, phishing, and social engineering tests and attacks.
  • Document control failures and gaps, provide remediation guidance, and prepare management reports to track remediation activities.
  • Stay current on best practices and technological advancements, acting as a technical resource for security assessment and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT standards preferred
  • Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies
  • Ideal CEH, CISSP, CISA, or CISM qualification
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions under tight timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive change collaboratively
