Performance Monitoring Engineer Opportunity

Are you a skilled performance monitoring engineer seeking a challenging role? We invite applications for a Performance Monitoring Engineer position in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance monitoring systems to ensure seamless operation of complex software systems.
  • Develop expertise in observability tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, and Dynatrace to gain deep insights into system behavior.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement modern observability practices such as SRE, SLI/SLO, Synthetic, APM, and RUM.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in the field of performance monitoring and engineering.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in performance monitoring and engineering.
  • Expertise in Python, Shell, PowerShell, and other script development languages.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and similar technologies.
  • Understanding of Agile framework and tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow ticketing system.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of IT production backup and resilience setup, including High Availability setup and Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Understanding of key concepts of distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with RedHat Linux administration and performance management.
  • Basic knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Tower.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad, and OpenShift.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably IBM Cloud.
