Analytics Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Analytics Manager to drive business growth through data-driven insights.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans that leverage data models, mining, and segmentation techniques to inform key business decisions.
  • Utilize machine learning and operations research methodologies to identify areas of improvement and optimize business processes.
  • Apply expertise in R, SQL, Python programming languages, and familiarity with Java, VBScript, and object-oriented programming concepts to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
  • Extract, transform, and load complex data sets from various sources, including databases, data warehouses, and external systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, underwriting, claims, statistical, information technology, legal, and sales to achieve organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in general insurance, specifically Fire Commercial Lines of Business and health products.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing data-driven strategies that drive business growth.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and data frameworks including SAS, Data Lake, and Hadoop.
  • Strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
