Job Overview:

As a skilled Fixed Income Trader, you will manage proprietary trading activities in various fixed income instruments, including government bonds, Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), and Interest Rate Futures (IRF).

Your primary responsibility will be to explore new investment opportunities in dynamic market scenarios and generate profitability through trading in SLR and Non-SLR instruments.

Additionally, you will maintain adherence to regulatory guidelines and investment policies of the firm.

Effective relationship-building skills and presentation skills are essential for this role, as you will interact with representatives from Banks, Primary Dealers, Mutual Funds, Insurance funds, and brokerage firms.

  • A strong understanding of Indian rates market and onshore INR Macro Trading experience is required.
  • At least 3-6 years of experience in trading government bonds, OIS, and IRF is necessary.
  • Proficiency in CCIL applications, including NDS-OM/TREPS/CROMS platform, is mandatory.
  • A strong track record of revenue generation is expected.
Candidate Requirements:
  • MBA in Finance/economics from a premium institution/CA/ CFA (preferably) with an excellent academic record.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
