Blending Operations Manager

This pivotal role plays a key role in optimizing raw material blending and production planning across multiple operations, focusing on cost efficiency, quality control, and AI-driven analytics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing blend schedules for pet coke feedstock to ensure optimal performance.
  • Tracking inventories and production rates to guarantee alignment with shipment schedules.
  • Evaluating sourcing options and logistics to minimize costs while meeting product specifications.
  • Utilizing AI tools and Linear Programming (LP) for predictive planning and business modeling.
  • Collaborating with global teams to achieve operational excellence through effective communication and leadership.
  • Managing SAP transactions and generating reports on production, inventory, and KPIs to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in planning and blending, preferably in carbon or metallurgical industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in LP modeling and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • SAP knowledge and familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and optimization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in a global team environment.
