Oracle JDE Functional Consultant


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle JDE Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.

The selected candidate will configure and implement JDE EnterpriseOne (or World) modules such as Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution, and translate business needs into JDE functional designs and configuration settings.

Responsibilities include developing functional specifications for customizations, reports, and interfaces, supporting full lifecycle JDE implementation or upgrade projects including design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support, conducting user training, workshops, and preparing user documentation, and troubleshooting system issues and providing production support to resolve functional issues.

Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, 4+ years of hands-on experience as a JDE Functional Consultant, expertise in at least one JDE module area (Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Procurement), strong understanding of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture, data flow, and configuration, and knowledge of business processes, best practices, and regulatory compliance.

Desirable skills include experience with JD Edwards Orchestrator, UX One, or CafeOne, familiarity with integrations between JDE and external systems, JDE certification, prior experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, distribution, or logistics, and ability to lead cross-functional workshops and support change management activities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.

  • Translate business needs into JDE functional designs and configuration settings.
  • Develop functional specifications for customizations, reports, and interfaces.
