Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Testing Manager to oversee our end-to-end testing activities for multiple applications within Equity Cash and Derivatives Exchange systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand the functional requirements of Equity Cash and Derivatives trading, risk management, and settlement modules; prepare test plans and estimations; manage design, documentation, and execution of test cases.
  2. Allocate testers; manage defects and bug reporting; coordinate with delivery managers for release management; monitor SOP adherence.
  3. Test progress reporting to stakeholders including business, technology, and compliance teams.
  4. Participate in Exchange Mock Trading and Market Simulation Activities for both Cash and Derivatives segments.
  5. Monitor process implementation as per defined SOP and exchange regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

  • At least 2–3 years of experience managing testing activities in the BFSI domain.
  • Direct experience in Equity Cash and/or Equity Derivatives exchange systems is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of system testing metrics, best practices, and methodologies for high-availability, low-latency trading systems.
  • Proven data analysis, verification, and problem-solving abilities in a market-critical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.Tech / B.E. (Preferred) / MCA / M.Sc. – IT (with good academic record).
  • At least one testing certification from a reputed institute (preferred).

Technical Competencies:

  • Detailed knowledge of exchange trading platforms, clearing and settlement systems, and risk management modules.
  • Technical fluency in relevant programming languages and database systems.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements from SEBI, exchanges, and clearing corporations.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Ability to communicate in both technical and business-friendly language.
  • Continuous learning mind-set to keep pace with evolving market structures and regulations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy under time-critical conditions.
  • Initiative and self-motivation.
