Reliability Engineer Specialist

We're looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about improving efficiency and reliability. As a Reliability Engineer on our SRE team, you'll work with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential issues before they impact our products or services.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in development and operations, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that ensure high availability and performance of our applications.

To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You'll also need to be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and implementing system architectures that meet business requirements and ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborating with development teams to identify and address potential issues before they impact our products or services.
  • Developing and maintaining monitoring tools and scripts to track system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Working with infrastructure teams to ensure that our systems are properly provisioned and configured.
  • Providing support and guidance to junior engineers and other teams as needed.

Requirements:

Must-have skills:

  • Strong background in software development and operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based systems and platforms.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration.
  • Knowledge of observability and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Splunk).
  • Understanding of service-level agreements (SLAs) and service-level objectives (SLOs).
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
