Job Description:

This role involves utilizing expertise in instrumentation and control systems to ensure the safe operation of oil and gas facilities. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting hazard and risk assessments, allocating safety requirements to safety instrumented systems, and participating in hazard operability reviews.

The ideal candidate will have experience with control systems such as Emerson Delta V DCS, Honeywell HC900 Safety PLC, and Rockwell Advance, as well as other related systems. They will also be familiar with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.

The selected candidate will be part of a team that implements work processes, procedures, and quality policies in projects. They will also ensure technical integrity of Instrument Engineering Design activities deliverables and compliance to project performance, quality, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years' experience in Oil and Gas Industry as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer.
  • TUV Rheinland Certified Functional Safety Engineer with at least 2+ years of utilizing certification experience.
