Product Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee contract manufacturing partner production and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Visit vendor and contract manufacturing sites to inspect assembly and production activity.
  • Implement work instructions and assembly procedures at these sites.
  • Perform on-site quality checks and maintain QC checklists and defect reports.
  • Track work in progress at vendor sites and ensure proper packaging and shipment readiness.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:
  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in production, assembly, or quality in a hardware startup or manufacturing setup preferred.
  • Frequent travel to vendor and contract manufacturing sites required.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills essential.
  • Experience with low-volume production or new product launches a plus.
  • Working on consumer hardware, lifestyle products, or electromechanical assemblies desirable.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to ERP tools or digital tracking systems like JIRA, Trello, or Notion beneficial.
