Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Technical Market Analysis team. This role involves providing strategic intelligence and insights to inform business decisions.

• Main Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for R&D market analysis delivery to in-market teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely project completion.
  • Engage with R&D leads to scope initial problems and define key questions that will shape the research agenda.
  • Participate in GBS governance meetings and provide critical reports on KPIs and SLAs as required.
  • Prioritize requests, process documentation, and ensure delivery within defined service level agreements.
  • Assign appropriate resources for each project and foster effective teamwork.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the CPG/FMCG/food and beverage/health and nutrition/life science industry, leveraging systems-level thinking and cross-referencing industry insights to inform research content.
  • Develop and execute strategies for digitizing and automating research processes, ensuring efficient workflows and optimized outcomes.
  • Lead team efforts in developing competitor assessments, benchmarking industry profiles, and analyzing trends, challenges, and key players.
  • Maintain open communication channels with the Technical Market Analysis Capability Lead and collaborate with other GBS teams when necessary.
  • Foster growth and development within the team by training, mentoring, and managing Senior Analysts and Analysts.
  • Oversee workload management, providing subject matter or market-specific expertise to support daily research activities, and conducting project deliverable reviews to identify and address gaps in research or expected outcomes.
  • Multi-task and manage multiple research requests simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and actionable insights.
  • Connect disparate requests and workstreams, synthesizing secondary research and analysis to inform global requests and ad-hoc inquiries.
• Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record of supervisory experience, working with parallel teams or functional leads across different time zones and locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams, drive motivation, and increase retention rates.
  • Experience working in a global shared services environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Service Management processes, particularly business research and technology-IP intelligence.
  • Advanced analytical research skills to decode complex business problems and align with expected outcomes.
  • Effective organizational and communication skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Familiarity with relevant subject matter literature resources and market research tools such as Statista, Mintel, Factiva, Euromonitor, and others.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands, maintaining flexibility and composure under pressure.
