Primary Years Programme (PYP) Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate PYP leader to enhance our educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and review the PYP curriculum in alignment with IB guidelines to create a student-centered environment.
  • Cultivate effective delivery of the PYP through close collaboration with teachers and promote a culture of inquiry and reflection.
  • Provide expert guidance and support for teachers in developing transdisciplinary units and inquiry-based learning experiences.
  • Organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions for staff to ensure a cohesive understanding of the PYP.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and the school community to promote understanding and appreciation of the PYP.
  • Coordinate and support student assessments and maintain accurate records as per IB requirements.
  • Stay updated on IB developments and changes to ensure the school's adherence to IB standards.
  • Maintain open communication channels between all stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and the IB organization.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • IB PYP Coordinator training or certification.
  • At least 10 years of experience in teaching and a deep understanding of the IB framework, particularly the PYP.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
