Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high-speed PCB layout, schematic interpretation, and manufacturing standards.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will design complex layouts using ECAD tools such as Allegro/Xpedition software.
  • They will analyse technical requirements and customer input to execute Layout Engineering.
  • A strong background in designing layouts for motherboards using Intel, AMD, NXP, TI processors is a big plus.
  • The engineer must understand and implement design guidelines from PDG.
  • Maintenance of knowledge of relevant IPC design standards for library creation, PCB design, and schematic entry is essential.
  • They will place PCB components with a strong background dealing with analog, digital, power, and high-speed circuitry.
  • Expertise in high-speed net routing and usage of blind & buried vias is required.
  • Familiarity with tab routing is a plus.
  • Setting physical, spacing, and electrical constraints is a key responsibility.
  • The engineer must independently understand and read schematics.
  • Awareness of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity concepts for PCB Design is necessary.
  • Collaboration with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses to understand manufacturing rules is required.
  • The successful candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Documentation of PCB Guidelines, Processes, and Checklists is an essential task.
  • Awareness of thermal impact for design placement is necessary.
  • Good expertise in DFM, DFA, DFS, and DFT analysis is required.
  • Gerber and ODB++ generation and review is a key responsibility.
