Senior Metal Furniture Product Developer Job

This challenging role is for a skilled and innovative Senior Metal Furniture Product Developer to join our metal furniture design team. As a key member of the product development team, you will play a vital part in creating cutting-edge metal furniture designs that meet our customers' expectations.

  • Create high-quality steel furniture products that balance aesthetics and functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and production to ensure seamless design-to-production processes.
  • Analyze the structural integrity of metal furniture to guarantee durability and stability.
About the Role:
  • Develop prototypes for testing and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
  • Work closely with suppliers to source materials and components.
  • Ensure all designs comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company specifications.
  • Assist in developing cost estimates for production, assembly, and materials.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Design Engineer in the steel furniture industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of material properties particularly steel and other metals.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes for steel furniture welding cutting bending etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
